Books and I: A love story

Hi, everyone! I hope you all are living an awesome life (If you want someone to talk to, I’m here!)! I have a special post to share with you, today. It is a love story! *cough*

But first, I have to tell you something. I hit 100+ follows milestone and I’m having a Q&A to celebrate it! If you want to ask me anything, you’re welcome! Just click here and you will be teleported to the post haha

Also, as I’m very forgetful, I forgot to tell you all that I guest posted on Maggie’s blog. Click here to see that post. Maggie guest posted here too! Click here to see that post.

Okay, as I have said what I had to (hopefully), we can begin with our story!

Once upon a time, long long ago… Uhh, this doesn’t work. Let’s start again-

I have not always been fond of Books. When I was a kid, 5 years old (to be precise), I got a book called ‘Tales from the Arabian Nights’ or something. I remember reading a few pages from it and giving it to my brother, who was one year old at that time, and he literally tore some pages and coloured on it. (I’m really sorry about it)

Then, when I was six, although I enjoyed writing stories with bad grammar, I did not like story books!

When I was seven years old, I got a book for school- A picture dictionary (if this is a word). This was when my love story began! I had a half- month vacation and I was getting bored. I thought “I should read” and I picked up that dictionary and started flipping through its pages (no, I never touched it before that). I was mesmerized by all the pictures in it. Then I kept turning pages, looking at the pictures and reading some words (and learning a lot!). I slowly got interested in reading and read that dictionary TWICE!

Over the years, my love for books has been increasing. I always look forward to library sessions in school. I like going to bookstores and returning with a huge pile of books lol

We’ve finally come to the end of this post! Thanks for reading!

Don’t forget to tell me how you fell in love with books! What are some of your favourite books? Should I do more posts like this? Do you guys have any post ideas for me?

This has become my favourite Bitmoji now. I love all the colours in it!

  2. My reading journey started with the Rainbow Magic Fairy books, when I was perhaps 4 or 5, but when I really fell in love with reading was with (*surprise, well, not really,*) the Harry Potter booksβ€”the first of which I began reading on my 8th birthday! This was such a lovely post!
